Product details description
Razor wire (not to be confused with barbed wire) is a high-security barrier made of steel strips with sharp edges. It is designed to inflict injury and deter climbing.
Concertina vs. Linear
Concertina (Coiled): The wire is clipped into a spiral coil. When deployed, it looks like an accordion. It covers a large area (10-15 meters) quickly and is ideal for perimeter fencing. It expands like a spring, making it hard to cut through.
Linear (Flat): The wire is strung in a straight line like a fence. It is used for anti-climb spikes on walls or top rails of fences. It is less intimidating visually but very effective at stopping climbing.
Blade Types
BTO-18/22: Medium-sized blades. The standard for residential and commercial security (top of a 6ft fence).
CBT-60/65: Large, heavy-duty blades. Used for military bases, prisons, and high-value infrastructure. The large loops are harder to cut with bolt cutters.
Clip Selection
The wire is secured using stainless steel clips. For coastal areas, you must use marine-grade stainless steel (316) clips; standard carbon steel clips will rust and snap, causing the razor wire to sag.
